18th century secretaire bookcase

antique secretaire bookcase restoration

secretaire bookcase

This late 18th century secretaire bookcase (in the style of),  had the bottom half restored and the top half built in 2009.

The top half, the fall and the feet are all new. Reif & Son supplied the veneers of block mahogany, holly and rosewood. Thanks to the veneers supplied I was able to achieve a brilliant match to the original.
